May Market

The credo "something for everyone," is amply fulfilled at the old-fashioned cozy May Market. The historic market squares in downtown Zutphen are worth visiting in their own right and lend themselves perfectly to hosting an extensive market. More than 125 merchants and stallholders from all over the country have been coming to Zutphen with their wares for decades, from the Marspoortstraat to the Spittaalstraat there are some 125 stalls meandering through the cozy city center and across the markets. Children can have fun at the May Market in one of the attractions present. Furthermore, it is shopping Sunday, the stores are open, and there is Music in the City: enjoy intimate concerts by international street artists at various locations in the shopping streets.
