The great book fair with thousands of visitors and hundreds of stalls is back! This year we may welcome all booksellers and book fans back to the historic downtown area on Sunday, August 6, 2023.
On Sunday, August 6, 2023, the Book Town and Hanseatic City of Deventer will host the 33rd edition of the Deventer Book Market during the special Hanseatic Year. After the modified edition in 2022, the 2023 Book Market is back in its full glory. With around 850 stalls, the Deventer Book Market is the largest book market in Europe.
