The Pelsertoren is a renovated medieval defense tower (ca. 1475-1500) located on the canal in the inner city of Zwolle. Together with 22 other towers, the Pelsertoren used to be part of Zwolle's city wall. Only three of the 23 towers remain: the 'Zwanentoren', the 'Wijndragerstoren' and the 'Pelserpoorttoren' or 'Pelsertoren'. The Pelsertoren has the status of a national monument.
