Hostel Deventer

We have 4 double and 2 single rooms and a dormitory with shower with 2 bunk beds for a total of 4 people. Some rooms have their own shower and/or toilet, others share the shower and toilet with another room.

In the kitchen you can prepare your breakfast or something else. The whole building has wifi and network cables for fast internet. You have a nice view of the old city from all the rooms. We are located on the river IJssel.

Why a Hostel cq Short Stay accommodation?
As owner of Hotel de Vischpoorte Deventer, which is opposite the Hostel, I was regularly told: Ah Peter, all we need is a room of our own, a good bed and a shower in a nice location. That's all it is but that's so hard to find in Deventer. Don't you have that for us? So I thought, if that's what guests are looking for, I'm going to make sure it's there in Deventer. And so the idea of the Hostel was born. A beautiful building opposite the hotel was available. A unique place and for Deventer a unique concept.

For many people who want to spend a night in Deventer, an accommodation with basic facilities is just fine. You can make your own breakfast in the kitchen. There are no TVs and we have excellent wifi for your mobile devices. And then we shouldn't forget the view from all the rooms: You overlook the old city center and it is super beautiful. Nearby you have lots of restaurants, cafes, the library, nice stores, the city hall. theater Mimik, the Schouwburg, the Waag and the Lebuïnus Church that watches over you at night. We are also close to beautiful squares such as the Brink, the Grote Kerkhof and the new catering square at the Grote Poot. Truly a lively neighborhood. The Hostel is also often used for Short Stay so for example for a few months. It is super suitable for that so if you are looking for a temporary space, you are very welcome.
