Hattem

The Anton Pieck Museum in the Gelderland town of Hattem exhibits work by Dutch painter and graphic artist Anton Pieck. The museum was opened in 1984 by the artist and Princess Margriet.

The museum provides a broad and in-depth look into the work and life of Anton Pieck. The museum shows that in addition to being an illustrator, Anton Pieck was a gifted graphic artist. The museum displays original paintings, etchings, lithographs and screen prints. In the basement are the original etching press on which Pieck himself pressed all his etchings and his work corner can be seen.
