On 2 October, we will get to know 'Dulfer & Witteveen' in all their facets. The programme is a colourful mix of styles. The bassoon and saxophone are transformed into strings, singers and horns.

Thomas Dulfer (bassoon) and Deborah Witteveen (saxophone) are regarded as two very talented young musicians. They were previously referred to as 'up-and-coming talents in the world of classical music'. At a young age, they each won prizes at the Prinses Christina Concours and were presented with the Classic Young Masters Award. Together, they were part of the JongNBE, the breeding ground of the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble. A close musical friendship developed and since 2017 they have been playing together under the working name Duo de Bontebal, nowadays better known as "Dulfer & Witteveen".

In the musical play of this young talented duo, the bassoon and the saxophone transform into the sounds of strings, singers and wind instruments. On 2 October, the programme consists of a colourful mix of styles; works by Rossini, Rameau, Purcell, Bach and Verhulst, among others, will be played. Mostly in their own arrangements.
